Hundreds Lose Power in Downtown Ventura
VENTURA — An underground equipment failure caused an outage in a Southern California Edison power line Thursday night that affected at least 900 customers in downtown Ventura.
The outage occurred at 7:45 p.m. and affected homes on Poli Street between Hemlock and Cedar streets. The power remained out as of 9:30 p.m., and company representatives said they did not know when it would be restored.
