The Tustin Mets, baseball players ages 13 and 14, recently finished third at the United States Specialty Sports Assn. (USSSA) World Series in Houston, said Coach Adam Bakersky. There were more than 8,000 registered teams nationwide in the league. The team represented California at the tournament.
“This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and these young men carried themselves like the winners they really are,” Bakersky said.
