A shipping business on Vista Terrace has been nominated for a statewide recycling award. Waste Management of Orange County, the city’s trash hauler, nominated the Frito-Lay El Toro warehouse for the award after studying the recycling practices of more than 80 local companies.
Waste Management of Orange County division president Bob Coyle said Frito-Lay was recognized for the creation of reusable cardboard shipping pallets.
