The technical, marketing and legal issues surrounding commerce over the Internet will be examined at a seminar today in Los Angeles. Electronic-commerce experts will discuss topics ranging from targeting niche markets to using the Web to cut operational costs. Other points of discussion will be how to configure businesses, both structurally and technically, for Internet commerce and how traditional commercial law is being applied in today’s rapidly changing electronic marketplace. Sponsored by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, the seminar is scheduled for 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the chamber’s downtown headquarters, 350 S. Bixel St. Admission is $20 for chamber members; $25 for nonmembers.
