Excerpts of crime and emergency reports from the 31 cities and other communities in Orange County. Some agencies update their logs less frequently than others.
ANAHEIM
* East Katella Avenue: Report of an assault and battery in the 2600 block at 12:24 a.m. Sunday.
* West Lincoln Avenue: A hit-and-run with injuries was reported in the 1600 block at 1:32 a.m. Sunday.
BREA
* Brea Mall: A burglary was reported at 1:35 p.m. Saturday and a grand theft at 5:53 p.m. Friday.
BUENA PARK
* Lassen Drive: The owner of a Toyota Tercel reported his car window and stereo were broken in the 6600 block at 7:24 a.m. Sunday.
* Fullerton Avenue: Police broke up a fight between two people in the 5700 block at 9:45 p.m. Sunday.
COSTA MESA
* Arlington Drive: Power was temporarily cut at the Orange County Fairgrounds on Monday afternoon after a car blew a tire and ran into a light pole in the 800 block, police said. Officers were called to the scene at 12:44 p.m. No injuries were reported, and power was soon restored to the area hosting the county fair.
FOUNTAIN VALLEY
* Slater Avenue: Someone made between 100 and 200 crank phone calls to a business in the 10000 block during business hours Thursday.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Amazon Drive: Report of a man beaten with metal chains in the 7600 block at 3:39 p.m. Sunday.
IRVINE
* Alton Parkway: A locked red Royce Union trick bicycle was reported stolen near McDonald’s in the 5400 block at 4:07 p.m. Sunday.
* Fortune Drive: A 1998 Nissan Pathfinder was reported stolen from the Irvine Spectrum parking lot in the 60 block at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
* Oak Canyon: Police responded to a report of a cat bite in the 6400 block at 8:37 a.m. Saturday.
LAGUNA BEACH
* Cliff Drive at Jasmine Street: A report of a stolen 1994 Mercedes-Benz was made at 12:21 a.m. Monday.
LAGUNA HILLS
* Nellie Gail Road: A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after his 1995 Ford pickup rolled over in the 26000 block at 12:30 a.m. Friday.
* Avenida de la Carlota: The owner of a business in the 24200 block reported seeing an employee stealing about $400 in merchandise at 6:45 p.m. Friday. He told authorities the employee had been stealing from the business since March.
LA HABRA
* West La Habra Boulevard: A warrant arrest was made in the 400 block at 9:02 p.m. Sunday.
* West Lambert Road: Report of a vehicle burglary in the 900 block at 1:24 a.m. Sunday.
* East Essex Drive: Report of a residential burglary in the 1400 block at 12:06 a.m. Sunday.
* West Imperial Highway: Report of an auto theft in the 1300 block at 12:19 a.m. Saturday.
* South Beach Boulevard: Report of a residential burglary in the 1000 block at 8:08 a.m. Saturday.
LAKE FOREST
* Peacock Street: Report of gunshots in the 24000 block at 11:43 p.m. Thursday.
* Viewpoint: Report of a suspicious person in the 25000 block at 6:45 a.m. Thursday.
LA PALMA
* Laurelwood Lane: Several callers reported hearing a loud booming noise near the Edison right of way about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
LOS ALAMITOS
* Howard Avenue: Police told the organizers of a large apartment party to turn down the music in the 4400 block at 12:08 a.m. Sunday.
* Thor Avenue: Animal control officers assisted police in subduing an out-of-control cat in the 3600 block at 10:01 p.m. Sunday.
ORANGE
* North Tustin Street: Report of a burglary with forced entry at a restaurant in the 200 block at 1:54 a.m. Saturday.
* East Chapman Avenue: Report of a burglary with forced entry at an apartment in the 3000 block at 6:35 a.m. Saturday.
* City Boulevard West: Report of shoplifting--amounting to at least $200--from a clothing store at 10:04 p.m. Saturday.
* North Glassell Street: Report of a car stolen from an apartment complex in the 700 block at 9 a.m. Friday.
* City Parkway East: Report of stolen property exceeding $400 from a restaurant in the 3000 block at 11:27 a.m. Friday.
* North Lewis Street: Report of a burglary at an apartment in the 100 block at 1:24 p.m. Friday.
PLACENTIA
* Orangethorpe Avenue: An assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 1800 block at 1:42 a.m. Sunday, and a robbery was reported in the 300 block at 9:56 p.m. Sunday.
* Kraemer Boulevard: An assault was reported in the 200 block at 7:40 p.m. Sunday.
SEAL BEACH
* Seal Beach Boulevard at Bradbury Road: Report of a man and a woman stealing clothes from the Salvation Army booth shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday.
* Surfside Avenue: Tires of a blue 1991 Toyota were slashed about midnight Sunday.
TUSTIN
* Alliance Avenue: A fight involving about 20 alleged gang members in an apartment complex in the 16600 block resulted in broken windows to vehicles and the arrest of an 18-year-old man, who police said used a steering-wheel locking device as a weapon at 12:35 a.m. Saturday.
* East 1st Street: Report of a bar fight involving weapons, including a gun and a knife, in the 400 block at 1:45 a.m. Saturday. The fight had ended when police arrived.
WESTMINSTER
* Westminster Boulevard: A 15-year-old boy and a 18-year-old man were arrested near the 6300 block at 3:30 p.m. Saturday on suspicion of auto theft. The passenger in the vehicle, a 17-year-old girl, was not held.
* Beach Boulevard: A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and a 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of interfering with police work in the 14100 block Saturday. A third person was also arrested at the location on an unrelated warrant.
YORBA LINDA
* Via Alvarado: A petty theft was reported in the 5000 block at 9:09 a.m. Sunday.
* Raintree Street: A petty theft was reported in the 5500 block at 5:33 a.m. Friday.
Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Monday: Cypress, Dana Point, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Stanton and Villa Park.
