Globalstar Network Adds 4 Communications Satellites

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — Boeing Co. launched a Delta 2 rocket Saturday, putting in orbit four satellites for the Globalstar worldwide mobile telephone network.
The satellites were placed into orbit 888 miles above Earth, bringing to 28 the number of satellites in the Globalstar constellation. Globalstar is an international consortium led by Loral Space & Communications Ltd.
