Greyhound Takes You Closer to ‘The Strip’
- Share via
Greyhound buses going to Las Vegas from Los Angeles and Phoenix, Ariz., now stop a block from the Strip instead of only at the downtown terminal--saving Strip-bound riders a bus or taxi trip of several miles.
“We’re basically creating a door-to-door service,” Greyhound’s Mike Abercrombie said of the route, which stops at Palace Station Hotel & Casino and three other Station hotels.
The buses leave Los Angeles several times a day. The trip takes about five hours on express buses and 6 1/2 hours on local buses, which stop at more than 15 other Southland communities, including Long Beach, Abercrombie said. Round-trip fares from Los Angeles and Phoenix start at $48. Information: tel. (800) 231-2222.
