Polling places and workers are needed in the San Fernando Valley for the Los Angeles municipal elections on April 13 and June 8.
Workers, who must be registered voters, receive $45 for the 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. shift, plus $15 if they attend a recommended 90-minute training session. Poll supervisors are paid $55, plus $25 for attending a mandatory training session. Those who offer their homes or businesses for use as a polling place are paid $50.
