Computer Sciences Corp. said it signed a 10-year, $300-million contract with AT&T; to manage systems applications that support the phone company’s consumer services unit. The contract will put El Segundo-based CSC in charge of a portfolio of 50 software systems for telemarketing and customer support, provisioning, and compensation and commissions for sales and marketing. In NYSE trading, CSC shares rose $4.31 to $68.81, while shares of New York-based AT&T; rose $4.63 to close at $89.94.
