It’s quite literally a “Super” weekend with Super Bowl XXXIII on tap for Sunday, as well as several pigskin-related specials.
John Elway and the Denver Broncos try for back-to-back titles as they meet the Atlanta Falcons in Miami in “Super Bowl XXXIII,” Sunday at 3:15 p.m. on Fox. The pregame shows start at 11 a.m.
The Cartoon Network presents “Sylvester vs. Tweety,” Saturday at 6 p.m., a four-hour collection of legendary cartoons starring the putty tat and the yellow canary to be analyzed by NFL commentators Pat Summerall and John Madden.
A teenager puts on his grandfather’s heirloom and soon finds himself calling plays as 49er quarterback Steve Young in “The Magic Jersey,” Saturday at 7 p.m. on the Disney Channel.
Billy Crystal, Bill Maher, Ray Romano and NFL stars headline CBS’ “NFL All-Star Comedy Blitz,” Saturday at 8 p.m.--the special benefit for Comic Relief.
Nickelodeon’s “Sports Theater,” Saturday at 9 p.m., presents “Scrubs,” a drama about a teen who attempts to prove himself on the prep football team. Ronnie Lott guest stars.
For the 10th consecutive year, TBS presents “24 Hours of Andy,” beginning Sunday at 3 a.m. The marathon features 43 classic episode of “The Andy Griffith Show,” including “Man in a Hurry” and “The Pickle Story.”
MTV presents “Celebrity Deathmatch Deathbowl ‘99,” Sunday at 4:30 p.m. during the Super Bowl half-time. This time out, clay versions of Dolly Parton and Jennifer Lopez and Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield duke it out.

PBS’ “Mystery!’ series presents the new five-part drama “Heat of the Sun,” tonight at 9 on KCET-TV. Trevor Eve plays a former Scotland Yard detective who becomes involved in a web of murder and blackmail in Nairobi in the 1930s.
Jerry Springer and Julia Duffy visit ABC’s “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” Friday at 9 p.m.
Fox previews the “wickedly subversive” new animated comedy series, “Family Guy,” Sunday at 7 p.m. The series officially premieres in March. Following at 7:30 p.m., Troy Aikman, John Madden, Pat Summerall, Rosey Grier and Dan Marino guest on “The Simpsons.”

The Independent Film Channel presents “In Bad Taste: The John Waters Story,” Friday at 8 p.m. The offbeat documentary features interviews and never-before-seen footage of the outlandish, outrageous director. Following the documentary is Waters’ film “Polyester.”
David Steinberg looks at the state of pop culture on “National Desk,” Friday at 9 p.m. on KCET-TV.
Joan and Melissa Rivers host “The Golden Globe Fashion Review,” Saturday at 3 p.m. on E! Entertainment Television.
NBC’s “Exploring the High Frontier,” Saturday at 8 p.m., chronicles the “eighth continent”--a virtually unexplored area of the rain forest.
Popular country singer Vince Gill is the latest artist to participate on A&E;’s interactive show “Live by Request,” Saturday at 6 and 10 p.m.
