No. 4 Troy 80, La Habra 22--Veronica Johns-Richardson had 23 points, seven rebounds and five steals and Alicia Komaki had 16 points and three three-pointers for host Troy (19-0, 4-0). La Habra (8-12, 1-3) trailed 30-6 after one quarter.

In the Garden Grove League:

La Quinta 42, Rancho Alamitos 34--Rancho Alamitos led by two at the half but La Quinta outscored the Vaqueros, 17-7, in the third quarter. Lacee Keller (18 points) and Nadiya Aziz (seven points, 12 assists, eight steals) led La Quinta.

Pacifica 77, Garden Grove 34--Diana Barreras scored 24 points to lead three Pacifica players in double figures. Kristin Tompkins scored 17 and Dominique Valencia 10 for the Mariners (9-10, 4-1). Gloria Rojas scored 14 for Garden Grove (6-13, 1-4).

In Empire League girls’ water polo:

El Dorado 14, Kennedy 2--Eight players scored for the Golden Hawks (2-0 in league), including Sally Spickelmier, who had three goals. Goalkeeper Erin Mustain had seven saves for El Dorado, which shut out Kennedy (0-2 in league) in the second half.

In the Golden West League:

Saddleback 5, Santa Ana 2--Angelica Romeo scored twice to lead Saddleback (2-8, 4-2).

In the Pacific Coast League:

No. 8 University 8, Aliso Niguel 6 (OT)--Aliso Niguel tied the score at the end of regulation, but Marion Gee and Samantha Klau scored overtime goals to give University the victory. Gee had four goals to lead the Trojans (11-6, 3-0).

Laguna Hills 3, Costa Mesa 2--Chelsea Kay scored the go-ahead goal with two minutes remaining for visiting Laguna Hills (7-7, 1-2). Kim Sherman had 13 saves for the Hawks.

In the Sea View League:

No. 3 Newport Harbor 9, No. 10 Santa Margarita 4--Jocelyn Manderino led Newport Harbor (11-3, 3-0) with three goals, and Jamie Kroeze scored all four goals for Santa Margarita.

In the Sunset League:

No. 5 Marina 11, Huntington Beach 4--Sophomore Kendra Shanley had four goals and five steals and Marissa Nelson also scored four goals for Marina (13-4, 2-0). Kristin Freemon scored twice for Huntington Beach (4-10, 0-3).
