Orange Unified School District trustees Thursday will consider entering into a five-year agreement with Villa Park Little League for use of athletic fields at Cerro Villa Middle School. Under the proposed agreement, the league would have access to the fields at 4 p.m. on school days, provide a calendar of events to the school, and the league president would meet with the principal annually to discuss proposed modifications or improvements.
The league, which serves about 500 children ages 5 to 15, initially requested a 10-year agreement in order to make improvements to the fields. The 7:30 p.m. meeting is at district headquarters, 1401 N. Handy St. Information: (714) 628-4040.
