Del Norte Plaza, a unit of Los Angeles-based Pacific West Management, acquired the 215,000-square-foot Del Norte Plaza shopping center at 302-362 W. El Norte Parkway in Escondido for $25.5 million from Connecticut General Life Insurance Co. Reza Etedali of Sperry Van Ness, who represented both parties in the transaction, said the shopping center’s tenants include a Von’s grocery store, a Sav-On drug store, United Artists theaters and other outlets of national retailers.

Accurate Engineering, a manufacturer of sheet metal products for the aerospace industry, acquired an 80,000-square-foot building at Channel Islands Business Center for $3.6 million, according to John DeGrinis of Seeley Co., who represented Accurate with Michael Tingus, also of Seeley. DeGrinis said Accurate will employ 75 workers at the site, where it is relocating from Newbury Park. Michael Walsh of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services represented Channel Islands Business Center.

Glendale Freeway Business Center acquired a 60,000-square-foot business park at 3235 San Fernando Road in Los Angeles for $2.4 million from Lorea Land Ltd., according to Howard Schwimmer of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services, who represented the buyer and the seller in the transaction.

Sears, Roebuck & Co. has signed a six-year, $1.6-million lease on 15,000 square feet of office space at 9390 De Soto Ave. at Pacific Business Center in Chatsworth where the company will consolidate area sales operations. Scott Caswell of Delphi Business Properties, who represented landlord Northeast Valley Industrial Park in the transaction, said Sears will employ approximately 90 workers at the site, which combines operations from Chatsworth and Burbank. Sears was represented by Brad Chelf of CB Richard Ellis.

California Auto Dealers Exchange signed a five-year, $1.5-million lease for 27 acres of industrial land at Jurupa Industrial Park in South Fontana. Art Romandy of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services represented the auto dealers exchange. The landlord, John Boruchin of Boruchin Enterprises, represented himself.
