Learn & Go, a music and culture club, is offering a free lecture and discussion about Richard Wagner’s opera “Der Fliegende Hollander (The Flying Dutchman).” Ann Litvin, club founder, will host the session Saturday at her Brea home, along with a docent from Opera Pacific, where the opera will play Jan. 19-24. The event, which runs from 3 to 5:30 p.m., will include a brief multimedia presentation on pianist Vladimir Horowitz.
