The Police Department held a groundbreaking ceremony for the “Call to Duty” Memorial on Thursday at the Garden Grove Police Department, 11301 Acacia Parkway. The memorial honors five Garden Grove Police officers killed in the line of duty. The memorial cost about $130,000; so far, $120,000 has been raised to pay for it.
