The Costa Mesa Sanitary District is asking people to recycle their holiday cards as a way to aid St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, a nonprofit home for abused and homeless children in Boulder City, Nev. According to organizers, the ranch collects more than 1 million used cards each year and recycles them into new greeting cards.
A drop-off bin for cards will be available today in the lobby of City Hall, 77 Fair Drive. Cards may also be mailed to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, P.O. Box 60100, Boulder City, NV 89006, or sent by United Parcel Service to 100 St. Jude St., Boulder City, NV 89005. Information: (714) 754-5043.
