Councilman Norman Eckenrode on Tuesday asked the Police Department for a comprehensive review of costs associated with accidents involving patrol vehicles and motorcycles. Eckenrode said he would like a report by the Jan. 19 City Council meeting that also examines the fiscal impact of worker’s compensation on the department within the last 10 years. The requests comes in the wake of several accidents involving motorcycle patrol officirs.
