The City Council on Tuesday approved Tuesday using nearly a million dollars to improve 16 of the city’s 17 parks. Among the improvements for the other parks are lighting for a sports field at El Toro Park II and playground equipment that meets Americans with Disabilities Act standards. The council postponed plans for the 17th park, Lake Forest Park, until a meeting with residents. Information: (949) 461-3480.
