Jon Moore, a four-time All-American swimmer at South Carolina, has been named boys’ swimming coach at Corona del Mar High, Athletic Director Jerry Jelnick announced.
Moore, 26, has been an assistant coach of the Irvine Novaquatics’ national team the past nine months. He also has been a high school and club coach in Michigan for two years.

Joan McGhee has resigned as boys’ and girls’ volleyball coach at Kennedy High, Athletic Director Janet Berardi said.
McGhee recently became activities director at the school. McGhee decided that post, coupled with a teaching position, did not allow her to devote enough time to volleyball, Berardi said.
McGhee will coach the boys’ team this spring.

Kennedy pitcher Crystal Eubanks signed with Long Island University, Coach Sue Hall said. As a junior, Eubanks was 3-1.
