The Cypress Recreation and Park District is accepting sign-ups for its winter youth roller hockey program for children ages 8 to 14. The games will be played on Saturdays and some weeknights at the newly renovated Arnold/Cypress roller rink at 8611 Watson St. beginning Jan. 25. This week, district officials will assess players’ skill level. Applications are available at 5700 Orange Ave. Cost is $55 per season. Information: (714) 229-6780.
