Angelina Wolvert scored 19 points and had 13 rebounds and No. 18 Oregon (23-4, 14-2) moved atop the Pacific 10 Conference with a 60-52 victory over Oregon State (11-14, 3-13) in Corvallis, Ore. The Ducks, who have won nine in a row, are half a game ahead of UCLA in the Pac-10. . . . At the Southeastern Conference tournament quarterfinals at Chattanooga, Tenn., No. 17 Louisiana State (20-7) was upset by Kentucky, 81-71, as Shantia Owens and Laura Meadows had 20 points each for the Wildcats (20-9). . . . In the other SEC quarterfinals, No. 24 Alabama (19-9) got 18 points (all on three-point shots) from Nicole Carruth in a 76-72 victory over No. 23 Auburn (19-8). . . . Coco Miller scored 15 points and Kelly Miller added 14 as No. 14 Georgia (22-5) won, 72-66, over Mississippi State (17-10). . . . No. 2 Tennessee (26-2) got a career-high 38 points from Tamika Catchings in a 92-80 victory over Florida (19-13). It was the Volunteers’ first game since they were upset by LSU last week. . . . No. 5 Old Dominion (23-3, 16-0) stayed unbeaten in the Colonial Athletic Association with a 74-52 win over North Carolina Wilmington (10-15, 5-10) in Norfolk, Va. Mery Andrade and Aubrey Eblin scored 15 points apiece for Old Dominion. . . . Hilary Howard scored all 12 of her points in the first half as No. 8 Duke (24-5) opened the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament with a 90-57 victory over Florida State (7-20) in Charlotte, N.C.
