Third Annual Seminar on Writing for Television
“Breaking the TV Barrier: The Shifting TV Landscape,†the third annual television writing seminar presented by the Scriptwriters Network and Women in Film, will be held Saturday at Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
The 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. event will feature writers from current and former TV series including “Everybody Loves Raymond,†“Charmed,†“Ellen,†“Jesse,†“Frasier,†“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,†“Sports Night†and “The Magnificent Seven.â€
Six panels will cover topics such as writing for animation, the development process, creating new series, and blurring the lines between drama and comedy.
General admission is $75, with discounts available for students and Writers Guild members.
