The West Valley NeighborGood Program grants for community beautification total $20,000 and are awarded in amounts ranging from $250 to $2,500.
The money comes from Councilwoman Laura Chick’s discretionary funds allocated in the city budget for general city purposes.
Thursday’s informational workshop will begin at 10 a.m. at Chick’s district office, 19040 Vanowen St., Reseda, where applications will be available.
The application deadline is March 26.
