S. P. Milling in Ventura has changed its name to Hanson Aggregates, Pacific Southwest Region.
The name change is part of a decision by Hanson Building Materials America to bring its nine Southern California companies under one name and umbrella. The companies were recently purchased by Hanson for more than $120 million.
Hanson Aggregates, Pacific Southwest Region, is headquartered in San Diego. It operates 14 extraction and processing facilities, 12 ready-mix concrete plants, 16 recycling locations, three asphalt concrete plants and a grading and paving construction division.
