The City Council tonight will consider appointing Natalie “Lee” Klein to the Orange County Vector Control District. The district has been seeking support from cities for plans to fight the red imported fire ants, which have been plaguing the county since late last year. The city will also consider a resolution supporting control measures that would include aerial spraying. The council meets at 7 p.m. in chambers, 25201 Paseo de Alicia, Suite 150. Information: (949) 707-2600.
