Oiler Boys Win League Soccer Title

Huntington Beach, ranked seventh in the county, clinched its first Sunset League boys’ soccer title by defeating Los Alamitos, 2-1, Tuesday.
Matt Espinoza scored the winner with seven minutes left in the game. Scott Chambers tied the score in the 65th minute for the Oilers (15-6-2, 8-1).
This was Huntington Beach’s seventh consecutive league victory. Jared Eckart scored for host Los Alamitos (4-6 in league) six minutes into the game.
