Ex-Supervisor Joins Panel on Environmental Health

ORANGE COUNTY — Former Orange County Supervisor Harriet M. Wieder has been appointed to the National Advisory Environmental Health and Sciences Council, a group that advises the federal government on matters related to environmental health.
As a member of the Board of Supervisors for 16 years, Wieder took a special interest in environmental and public health issues. In accepting the four-year term on the national health board, Wieder said that she was “pleased with the opportunity to continue my interests in environmental health concerns.”
