Krystal Lopez, a fifth-grader at Tustin Ranch Elementary, represented the Tustin Unified School District in the annual “Why Say No to Drugs” essay contest, sponsored by the Orange County Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Orange County Pharmacists Assn. Krystal was one of more than 900 fifth- and sixth-graders to enter the contest, which included 10 Orange County school districts. For her win, she received an assortment of Walgreens’ “Bravery” certificates and meal or ice cream coupons from Del Taco, Carl’s Jr., Taco Bell, Baskin Robbins and Golden Spoons.
