Madonna won’t be there, but her soundtrack will be when the Orange County High School of the Arts puts on a mock version of MTV-style music awards this week. Students from Los Alamitos High School and the arts program will act as celebrity presenters at the OCHSA Music Awards, while students in the commercial dance department perform to the winning numbers.
The shows are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, with a 2 p.m. matinee Sunday, in the Margaret A. Webb Performing Arts Center on the high school campus, 3591 Cerritos Ave. Advance tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students, or $10 at the door.
