The American College Funding Program will give a free seminar aimed at helping students find money for college from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 11 at Denny’s restaurant, 6901 Walker St. The seminar, “Nine Ways to Beat the High Cost of College,” will cover finding and applying for college grants and low-interest loans. Information about colleges with the best financial aid packages and how to increase a student’s eligibility for financial aid will also be available. Reservations: (888) 909-0928.
