Retirement Community to Be Built in Northridge

Homeplace Retirement Communities of America Inc. said it has received approval from the city of Los Angeles to build a retirement community in Northridge. The facility will offer independent living for seniors as well as on-site assisted living and skilled nursing care. Villa Capri is scheduled to open in mid-2002.
Homeplace, of Del Mar, specializes in building retirement communities in Southern California.
