Tribute to Police Officers

As I was putting up lights around the house this holiday season, I came across the string of lights that was new last year.
It was a set of all blue lights, and I remembered that I put them up last year as a tribute to all of the police officers everywhere who had lost their lives in the line of duty. I had read somewhere that there was a movement afoot to honor these heroes in this way. As a police officer myself, I felt that it was a fitting tribute indeed.
If you share this notion, consider adding a string of blue lights to your holiday decorations. They are sure to enhance your decor, in addition to paying homage to the fallen heroes who will not be with their families for the holidays.
