The Irvine maker of medical products and contact lenses reported that net income for the fiscal third quarter dropped 36% to $6.5 million, or 46 cents a share, from $10.2 million, or 66 cents a share, a year ago. Operating income grew 16% to $10.9 million in the three months ended July 31, while revenue increased 9% to $43.4 million.
