Rude Staff

What has happened to common courtesy? I was at the Aug. 18 Los Angeles City Council meeting for the Manny Mota Day event and I have never heard so much chatter in my life. How rude of City Council flunkies jabbering away while a special presentation was being made to longtime Dodger Manny Mota. Council members Nate Holden and Jackie Goldberg each asked the group three times to be quiet and it wasn’t until an LAPD officer walked over did they bother to hush up.
If the City Council is going to go to all the trouble of making a special presentation to someone, the least the staff can do is be respectful and listen. How embarrassing.
