Jack Cust’s eighth home run in eight games helped High Desert to a 6-1 victory over Lancaster on Friday night in front of 3,021 at Adelanto.
Cirilo Cruz led of the second inning with a home run to give the JetHawks a 1-0 lead.

Outfielder Harvey Hargrove has been selected California League player of the week for Aug. 9-15. He batted .464 with four home runs, 13 runs batted in and 12 runs in six games.
The JetHawks placed right-handed pitcher Chris Mears on the disabled list and activated first baseman Shawn McCorkle.
Lancaster added right-handed pitcher Jared Hoerman, a free agent signed June 18 by the Mariners. He went 1-0 with a 1.41 earned-run average in 32 innings for Peoria in the Arizona League.
