The free weekly concerts in Portola Park have attracted a steady crowd of 100 people since moving to the new location next to the Children’s Museum on Euclid Street.
The large turnout at the 6:30 p.m. shows may have been helped by a new feature for kids: a recreation mobile that includes a pingpong table and six recreation leaders who engage children in games and other activities, said Shirley Walley, the program coordinator.
The remaining concerts include: El Mariachi Zacetas on Thursday and La Tino on Aug. 19.
