Thousand Oaks 7, Simi Valley 3--The Lancers, ranked No. 9, pounded a season-high 17 hits against two pitchers in a Marmonte League game at Thousand Oaks.
Sheridan Fowler had four hits and four runs batted in for Thousand Oaks (14-5, 6-2), and Kim Martin and Shawna Lane each had three hits.
Simi Valley (11-6, 3-4) lost for the sixth time in 10 games.
Newbury Park 8, Royal 3--Cindy Muran hit a run-scoring triple and Tawni Yamauchi had a run-scoring double in a five-run ninth that broke a 3-3 tie in a Marmonte League game at Rancho Simi Community Park.
Newbury Park (16-3, 6-1) had five consecutive hits in the inning, including a run-scoring single by Oli Keohohou.
The Panthers led, 3-2, until Jennifer Valadez hit a run-scoring double in the sixth inning for Royal (12-11, 3-4).
Yamauchi had three hits and Keohohou, Katie Stokx and Kamala Kiffe each had two.
Stephanie Thomas had a run-scoring triple and a single for Royal.
Crescenta Valley 24, Muir 0--Meredith Cervenka (14-5) pitched a no-hitter, struck out 14 and walked one for the Falcons (15-5, 5-0) in a Pacific League game at Muir.
It was the fourth no-hitter and the 12th shutout of the season for Cervenka.
Arcadia 2, Hoover 1--Cori Herbert (11-5) pitched a five-hitter and struck out 10 but the Tornadoes lost a Pacific League game at Arcadia.
Hoover (11-5, 3-2) scored on Rosa Diaz’s squeeze in the second inning.
Arcadia is 12-6, 4-1.
Santa Paula 11, Nordhoff 1--Carla Berumen had three hits, including a three-run triple, for the Cardinals in a Frontier League game called after six innings because of the 10-run rule.
Jobie Perez (5-2) pitched a two-hitter, struck out five and walked two for Santa Paula (9-7, 6-2).
Santa Clara 8, Calabasas 4--Heather Bell had three hits for the Coytoes (10-3-1, 6-1) in a Frontier League game at Calabasas.
Valencia 8, Burbank 3--Amy Jimenez hit a three-run pinch triple for the Vikings in a Foothill League victory at Burbank.
Melanie Williams had three hits and two RBIs for the Vikings (7-9, 2-2).
Tiffany Rhoads had two hits and two RBIs for Burbank (8-10, 0-5).
Highland 6, Palmdale 4--Sophomore Ashley D’Errico had three hits, including a home run, drove in three runs and scored twice for the Bulldogs in a Golden League victory at Highland.
Freshman Angie D’Errico had two hits and scored a run for the Bulldogs (12-6, 3-2).
Sophomore Nicole Rawson (12-5) pitched a five-hitter, struck out eight, walked two and did not allow an earned run for Highland.
Quartz Hill 22, Littlerock 1--Olaya Salazar hit a three-run home run to highlight an eight-run second inning in a Golden League game at Littlerock.
Jodie Cox had four hits and two RBIs for top-ranked Quartz Hill (19-1, 5-0).
Antelope Valley 11, Lancaster 7--Amanda Mathias had three hits and two RBIs for the Antelopes (9-7, 2-3) in a Golden League game at Lancaster.
Tara Jensen had four hits and two RBIs for Lancaster (5-8, 3-2).
Paraclete 5, Crossroads 3--Margo Horner and Amanda Wachsmuth each had run-scoring singles in the top of the ninth inning of a nonleague game at Clover Park in Santa Monica.
Horner finished with two hits for Paraclete (13-8).
La Reina 14, Bishop Diego 0--Danielle Field (7-3) didn’t allow a hit and struck out nine for the Regents in a Tri-Valley League game called after five innings because of the 10-run rule at La Reina.
Stephanie Hyatt had two hits and drove in a run for La Reina (13-6, 4-1).
Monroe 2, Reseda 0--Sulma Santana doubled home a run in the second inning and the Vikings (9-7, 7-0) scored a run on a throwing error in the fourth inning of a Mid-Valley League game at Reseda.
Celeste Bonilla tripled in the first and third innings for Monroe.
North Hollywood 6, Van Nuys 4--Sarah Pessagno (6-4) gave up seven hits, struck out seven and walked two for the Huskies in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at Van Nuys.
Pessagno, Tashean Thomas and Angela Sanhueza each had two hits for the Huskies (8-5, 6-1).
Canoga Park 11, Grant 4--Ana Leon’s three-run triple in the first inning sparked the Hunters to a Valley Pac-8 Conference victory at Grant.
Carmen Carpio had four hits and four RBIs for Canoga Park (10-6, 5-3).
