Missing Woman Died in Crash, Police Told
A Santa Paula woman last seen at a ranch in Baja California was killed in a traffic accident in Mexico while returning home, Santa Paula police said Tuesday.
Ronda Gale Doering, 52, who was reported missing by her boyfriend Monday, was involved in a single-vehicle accident in San Quintin, an area of rugged terrain.
She was last seen Saturday leaving the ranch north of Loreto, Mexico, and her boyfriend became worried when she didn’t arrive home. Mexican officials, who contacted Doering’s relatives, called Santa Paula police Tuesday evening to let them know of the accident.
