* Paul Brownfield’s tribute to Senor Wences (obituary, April 21) brought back a flood of childhood memories. “S’awright” was a running commentary in our family. And if someone struggling with a problem was told, “It’s easy,” we’d reply a la Pedro, “For you eet eez eezy. For me eet eez deefeecult!”
The gentle humor of Senor Wences is a joy to remember.
