Free Throw Accuracy Very Impressive
The final statistics for Denver’s 103-101 victory over the Clippers were remarkably even. A big factor, however, in the Nuggets’ win was their free-throw shooting as they made 27 of 29 and did not miss from the line until three minutes remained.
“If you look at the statistics, both teams played very well,” said Clipper Coach Chris Ford, whose team made 27 of 33 free throws. “There were only eight and seven turnovers.”
