Jared Flint
Orange Coast, Freshman
Football
Flint, from Irvine High, had time to take a good look around in the Pirates’ game against Santa Ana on Saturday. The Dons didn’t blitz much and Flint took advantage by completing 16 of 25 passes, including 11 in a row at one point, for 240 yards and three touchdowns. He also scrambled seven yards for a touchdown in the 28-17 victory.

Daedelow, an outside hitter, is leading Golden West in kills early in the season. She had a team-high 67 kills as the Rustlers went 9-1 last weekend at the Valley of the Sun tournament at Arizona State.
