Paraclete 33, Serrano 28--Rob Fockaert ran one yard on a quarterback sneak with 1:47 left in the game to lift Paraclete at Antelope Valley College.
Fockaert, who completed his last eight passes, finished having connected on 21 of 28 passes for 396 yards and three touchdowns.
Tommy Breech had eight of the receptions for 202 yards. Included were touchdowns catches of 70 and 28 yards.
Michael Washington had five receptions for 100 yards and also scored on a 47-yard run that opened the Spirits’ scoring early in the second quarter. Paraclete trailed after the first quarter, 14-0.
Josh White caught seven passes for 87 yards.
Serrano took a 28-27 lead with 3:17 left when Brandon Maggio scored his third touchdown of the game. Maggio rushed for 190 yards in 36 carries. His scoring runs were of one, three and 10 yards.
