It’s a Crime . . .

In the Aug. 23 Travel Advisory column, a Mexican tourism official is quoted as saying that in Mexico City, “the number of attacks on tourists has doubled this year, to 20 a day.” In a recent week, a daily average of seven assaults occurred in the Marina del Rey-Santa Monica area alone, according to a local newspaper. Shouldn’t we be good neighbors and warn tourists not to visit Los Angeles?
