* Regarding [Sherrice Iverson’s mother] Yolanda Manuel’s campaign to get David Cash charged with being an accessory to murder in the death of her daughter, she is pursuing the wrong person here. Cash is guilty of nothing more than being self-centered and ignorant. If we locked up everyone who is self-centered and ignorant, the streets would be empty.

The real accessory to murder is the child’s father. He committed the crimes of neglect and child endangerment when he allowed his 7-year-old child to play unsupervised in a gambling casino arcade at 3:30 a.m. and ignored the warnings of the casino’s security guards to remove her from the premises for her own good. She was sexually assaulted and brutally murdered in a toilet stall while he was gambling.
