Bogart Is Named to Head Up ROP

The Capistrano-Laguna Beach Regional Occupational Program has a new chief executive officer, Richard L. Bogart.
“I feel strongly that the ROP is in the right place at the right time to prepare high school students and adults in our communities for today’s emerging careers,” he said.
The Capistrano-Laguna Beach ROP serves both the Capistrano and Laguna Beach unified school districts.
Bogart most recently worked for 12 years as director of instruction for the Costa Mesa-based Coastline ROP.
He began his career in 1970 teaching technology and education courses in Michigan. He moved to Southern California in 1983 and became the computer education coordinator at UCLA for the California Department of Education.
