Body Found at Motel; Homicide Suspected

The body of a 50-year-old woman was found in a Midway City motel Thursday morning, apparently the victim of a homicide, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
A motel employee found April Rebecca Star about 10 a.m. in a room of the Beach West Inn on Beach Boulevard, where she had been living, sheriff’s Lt. Hector Rivera said.
The Sheriff’s Department declined to release a suspected cause of death or other details. There were no suspects, Rivera said.
