Fund-Raiser to Aid Recovery Center

The Domestic Violence Recovery Center will hold its annual fund-raiser Sept. 17 to widen its support network and improve psychological treatment for families, women and children.
“A Celebration of Unity Healing a Family” will feature a number of speakers, including Denise Brown, Debra Decker and Maureen Bisanz, as well as a silent auction.
The fund-raiser, which will also benefit the Nicole Brown Foundation, will be held at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, 3050 E. Los Angeles Ave.
Items for the silent auction are still needed, as are volunteers to help with the event.
