3 Connecticut Troopers, Suspect Hurt in Shootout

WILLINGTON, Conn. — Three Connecticut State Police troopers were shot Thursday, allegedly by a man who opened fire on them when they went to his mobile home. Police returned fire and seriously injured the suspect.
None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening, said State Police Col. John Bardelli.
Police searched the mobile home to investigate reports it was booby trapped.
