The Los Angeles County Public Library branch in Culver City will be closed for several weeks for recarpeting, officials said.
After its normal operating hours Saturday, the library will close until Oct. 13, said Josie Zoretich, community library manager.
The worn beige carpet in the 20,000-square-foot library is being replaced with the help of donations from the Friends of the Library, she said.
The county library branches nearest to Culver City are the Marina del Rey and View Park locations, Zoretich said.
