Health Center Sets Celebration, Events

The week of Sept. 14 is National Adult Day Services Week, and South County Senior Services will mark it with special events at its adult health care center.
“We’re celebrating the week and trying to expand community awareness of our program,” said Libby Borgen of the center.
A relaxation and stress management seminar will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 15. The center’s annual open house and talent show will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 16. No reservations are needed for either event.
The health care center offers supervised social and educational activities, including exercise, nutrition, music, art, guest speakers and family counseling.
